This and the succeeding reviews focuses on the quantitative paper summaries I read. With all fairness, I wished I could have the quantitative research skills to do these very interesting projects.

Initial thoughts on the paper:
I became familiar with Randomised Controlled Trials as I have read a number of government and donor-sponsored programmes which utlised this method. I liked how the RCT in this study tested the various conditions for purposes of evaluating the most apt and effective voucher programme for the identified community.
