An Educator Reflects: Education is Exploring Beyond Your Self


According to bell hooks (1994), educators need to help their students 'transgress' and navigate the boundaries of gender, race and class to obtain the benefits of freedom.

Here I am sashaying and navigating the borders of my university to explore beyond the boundaries of my comfort zone to exercise that freedom.

Ramping is liberating.

Liberation is progression.
