Le video de mon message à la fin de cette année
Le video de mon message à la fin de cette année.
Though I still have to read your year-end essay writing contest entries, I'd like to send my New Year greetings to all of you as early as now before we all get busy with self-reflection and preparations.
This year allowed us to demonstrate our creativity in many ways. For me, working at home gave me insights in tapping the power of digital technology to inspire change. And what a way to end this year by sharing with you my inspiration and love in learning languages.
Here's my video greeting to all of you in the languages I have learned through formal and informal education. Pardon for some unintentional conjugation and pronunciation lapses. Believe me when I tell you that we can unite the world by speaking the most important language of love.
Try to guess which languages I have used in this video. I tried my very best to record as I cannot go out of my home due to -3° weather outside. But voila!
Take care and always stay safe everyone! And thank you for being a part of my incredible journey this year.
Merci mon Dieu!

Message script in English and Tagalog:
Pagbati sa isang bagong taon puno ng pag-asa at pagkakaisa.
Despite the challenges unexpectedly brought by the pandemic to us, we collected ourselves, remained calm and resilient and stood together.
We witnessed how people helped one another, reaching out and extending their assistance to the best they can.
We nurtured our creativity and remained positive.
Many of us stepped up to bring smiles and joy to the people despite the circumstances.
We also celebrated all the milestones this year, big or small.
We are all hoping for a better year ahead.
My wish is for all of around the world to remain loving, humble and resilient.
I wish for the restoration of our lives, our communities and our economies so we can all rebuild again.
Because our love will stand the test of time, this pandemic and the uncertainties the world will face in the future. Let's stay united and take care of each other. And together, we will all move forward, stronger and better.
Thank you. Goodbye 2020! And Welcome 2021!
Maligayang Bagong Taon sa inyong lahat. At pagpalain nawa tayo ng ating Maykapal!
