Heathcare Workers' Diaspora...and other term paper jitters

I took the record yesterday for being able to finish a draft for my term paper in six hours time. Normally, for an average writer like me, it usually takes long months and a downpour of convincing powers to write a single paragraph. Promise!

I guess the topic of my paper "Outsourced Health and Safety Services in a Multinational Company: Issues and Concerns" is something close to my heart. Not only because I work for an organization delivering third-party services to an established corporate giant, I felt that somehow, I have a stake in the future of health care workers here in the Philippines.

The jitters somehow rest on the idea that the "diaspora" of Filipino healthcare talents have greatly been affected by their position in the workplace. In the recent times, health and safety services have been given lesser importance. I must admit though that there are still organizations who are already integrating it in their programs. But I felt that the options for these workers to practice their professions and uplift their learning curves start to diminish.

I guess it's really an urgent thing to finish my term paper so I could publish it to this blog. No matter who dares to read it.
